Series: Star Trek: TNG
Episode: 4.05 Remember Me (10/22/1990)
Rating: 3/5

Notable Guest Stars:

Eric Menyuk (The Traveler) – Wesley’s odd time traveling friend is back.
Bill Erwin (Dalen Quaice)

Review:

This was originally a side plot for the first episode of the season, Family, but it didn’t quite fit.  And personally I didn’t really care for it here either.  I’m in the minority though as many people seem to really enjoy this episode.

The basic plot of the episode is that Beverly starts noticing that people are missing and that no one recalls them.  This starts with her friend Dalen Quaice and continuing until all her crew is gone.

There isn’t much for me to say on this episode.  Which is honestly a bit odd because this season I’ve had 2-3 page reviews and this one is basically a one pager.  This could be a tweet almost in its briefness.  It’s a meh episode for me, but hopefully you’ll enjoy it better.

Its important, as a side note, to the overall “Wesley is a traveler for some unknown reason” arc.

Interesting Notes:

  • Written by Lee Sheldon
  • Directed by Cliff Bole
  • Gates McFadden did all her own stunts.
  • For some odd reason its called “The Experiment” in Germany.

Pros:

  • Beverly gets a spotlight.  Not often enough

Cons:

  • The Traveler subplot for Wesley was always a little weird and I didn’t really care for it.
